faded black tonneau cover on 328 convertible

the black tonneau cover on my 328 convertible has faded from the sun ... what do you recommend i use to restore its colour?

I don't think there is such a thing, unless your top is vinyl. It probably canvas right?

no, i am referring to the hard (vinyl?) cover that lifts up from the back, and the soft top tucks in underneath it.

It is hard vinyl like the "boot" on my roadster. I have used a quality vinyl restore product like Lexol's Vinylex sold here JC Whitney.
