Z3 or Z4. Which do you prefer?

I really didn't like the Z4 when it came out but now that I am used to it, I think i prefer it to the Z3. Discuss...

I've always like the look of the Z4. The Z3 is a great looking car, but I would choose the Z4 because of it's roomier interior and slightly more aggressive design.

However I would choose the M-Roadster over the Z4 anyday.

I love the new Z4's. However, I didn't color between the lines either. So I bought myself a ///M Roadster instead.

I'd take the M roadster too. But between the regular cars, I like the Z4 better. More masculine in my opinion. The updated Z3 was a big improvement compared to when it first came out tho. Well, the use of the E30 rear suspension in the Z3 bothered me too.

I didn't like the Z4's when they came out, but they have grown on me. I like the sharper/more defined lines of it over the Z3.

I like the Z4 alot, better than the Z3. Just like Dinan55, I WANT a Z4 based //M Roadster. I'll be in the shopping in 4 years, hopefully that will give them enough time to build it.

When I got my BMW Films DVD there was an entry card in the case to win a Z4. I'll let you guys know as soon as they notify me!

Z4 definitely looks better than the Z3 which is kinda feminine and small compared to the Z4's aggressive styling.

the Z3 was a mall car park run around for your blonde hair dresser girlfriend!! (apart from the M of course) the Z4 is a performer with agressive manly looks. thats why its not a development of the Z3 and BMW have tried really hard in Europe to make sure it is not percieved as a floppy dandies car like unfortunatly the Z3 was.

There has to be somthing said about having a car that people think is the standard 1.8 or 2l and then creaming the pants of of them!!!

Z3

I prefer the Z3 for two main reasons: A) I have found it to be more fun, and I drive both almost every day. The Z4 just seems...bland. Not stylewise, but handlingwise. B) The Z4 only came out about a year or so ago, and being a technician, I drive MANY more Z4's than I do Z3's. And you know what that means... Basically, the Z3 is sort of like a combination of the E30, E36, and with the later models, E46 technology. Oh, and I might be a little partial to the Z3 anyway. Do not get me wrong, I love them both. I would not at all mind having both in my driveway, but I think the Z3 would get a few more miles on it.

I agree with ya also, the Z4 is sweet!

You can get a Z3 pretty cheap though now on the used market

I have the family approach and opted for the 328iC
