You know you cant beet BMW's Leg room when he can fit in there, even if you were to put the seat all the way back on a normal car it wouldent be as good. I would think it would be a little hard to get out of though.

..... what.... seriously, i dont believe that. the seat back is 4.5 feet from the wheel and Yao's arms arent probably but 3 feet long.
ive seen shaq's ride its not that abnormal. just cause yao is a tall *****, doesnt mean he rides in the back seat of the 7.

Well I'd imagine he does ride like that - I'm 6'5" and ride with my seat all the way back, front lip tilted up, and seat tilted..(In a 3 series) I damn near look out my back window as it is myself..

Another reason I got my bimmer, I can make it fit me! (Heaven forbid I actually need to squeeze 2 people in my back seat.. someones riding indian style!) With him being 7'whateverish", I'm sure he has it all the way back. It's not so that you can stretch your legs the whole distance, just so that you have somewhere to store all that leg volume!

Does the seat go back that far in the 7? I bet the service guys in the picture at the dealership probably were the guys who rigged the seat mounting so it could sit that far back.

Yeah, definitely needed some modifications, because look at the position of the whole thing. I'm 100% sure the way the driver's seat is no, it is not the safest seating arrangement for an accident (checkout the seat belt, and he is at the back door, etc.) and BMW would not let it be like this.

btw, i sit super freakin close to the wheel, my knee is at about a 120 degree angle when my left foot is on the dead pedal. the guy i bought the car from was about 5'8" and i moved the seat up about a half inch and i'm 6'0-6'1"

Any idiot who drives with a seat adjusted like that needs someone to drive him.....it's looks more like a sleeping position than a driving position. I'm 6'2 so I don't really believe anybody would drive with a 7-series seat adjusted like that. And if, I'd buy a 745iL.

I just went to my car and measured the distance from the back of my front seat to the beginning of the back seat........I have 5 1/2 inches of clearance and I'm only 5'6" with 3 to 4 inch heels on daily, so let's just say that makes me about 5' 9 1/2"........frolf, you're scrunched up and I'm looking like a low rider..........

I know guys 5' 9" that 'pimp it' from nearly that far! I believe it, though if he needed to be that far back you figure he'd customize that bad boy a little bit... The dude's nearly 8' tall! [unsure]

i agree with MrElussive, if thats how he really sits, how would the seat belt work? the lap belt would work, but the one over the shoulders wouldnt really hold him in place in an accident. right?
