While reading the Bavarian Autosports newsletter, "Fast times", I read the article, "A slick trick for more go in the snow", with some interest. I no longer have a car with ASC or DSC and I do not live where snow is an issue, but this was interesting. Did you know that by pressing and holding the DSC or ASC button until the traction control light turns off you will be in a "half mode', where your system will apply ABS to wheels that lose traction, but your engine throttle will not be reduced? NOTE: (to reactivate the system to the normal mode you will have to turn the car off and restart as simply pressing the ASC or DSC button again will do nothing) This sounds pretty cool for you snow birds, anyone heard of this or tried it?
