Bhahahahhhhahahahha they need to use FTP and shell, not a web-based site manager
They built it that way as do most large corporate sites so that marketing can easily update the content.

Has anyone else had problems with the site in the past? I've played with the "Build your BMW" function before and sometimes the images have a hard time loading or refreshing after several views. Also, the site isn't that up-to-date with its wheel options and a lot of times, you can't even view the correct wheels at certain angles. Oh well, maybe I'm being to picky...

Aaaah that makes sense, i wasnt thinking... forgot big companies hired web programmers to make apps to allow the marketing departments to put content on the pages. I'm used to a little single-scripter site [:p]

I have dial-up how is that for high-speed. Sometimes it takes me as long as 12 minutes to upload 1 page on this forum. I guess I had better get DSL. thought I could just get by on dial-up for a while....I guess not. BMW page with Build your car feature? Not my computer! Not on dial up.....My car would be a classic by the time I loaded that page. HAHAHAHA
