what's the difference the 330 SE vs 330i

Are you referring to the 330i Performance Package vs the 330i Sport Package? The Performance Package for the 330i gives more aggressive bodywork, 10 more horsepower, a short-throw manual transmission, 18" wheels, Alcantara M Sport Steering Wheel, tighter suspension, and some other stuff. The 330i Sport Package provides 17" low-profile tires, sport suspension, sport seats, leather sport steering wheel. The 330i Performance Package is basically another step up from a 330i w/Sport Package. Unless SE means something totally different...

It's only 10 hp on paper, but I don't recall 10 hp making that big a difference in 0-60 times and other performance measures in any other car. Totally worth it, especially since it comes with the M-Tech body kit as well.
Oh wait, you're in London. From the British BMW mags I read, it gather that the SE is like a "value package" that includes common options standard. Great deal. I think one mag mentioned that the SE cars are cheaper than buying all the options together. Just check the UK BMW website to make sure.
