I have 1992 525i, and it has the stock 15's on it with some yokohama performance tires and it handles great. But im looking to get some new rims and wasnt sure what the best wheel would be for it. I dont want to go to big because it will lower the performance since the Engine isnt as strong as it used to be, and puling around 19's would be too much for it. If anyone knows of a good size i could use on my car then thatd be great...I was thinking some 17's ith a 9" width i back and 8" in front would be good but am not sure!

Thanks for your feedback

Also-Will having a smaller prile rim handle differently? IF so is it a good difference or a performance decreaser?

go with the E34///M5 throwing stars.8x17 all around, the 9" in back are a euro special part of the Nuerbergrin(sp)package.
I don't think you will need the meats in the back & you can find the others a bit less money.
Many think this is the hottest look for our cars.I hope to do the staggered set in the future.

I bought my 93 525i used. It came with a multi spoked wheel I believe was offered on 96 540. They are 16". I just put on 215-60-16 tires and am very happy with them. They are sporty looking and do not break the bank. My car travels 140 miles a day and so I do not need a high priced performance tire on it. Good luck!
