I'm a Porsche 911. That's *really* a good fit for me, I have always loved the 911 since I was a kid. I still think alot about buying a Porsche in the future, but the maintenance $$$$$ are crazy.QUOTE]
Hey Kirby,
Actually maintenance on a new/newer Porsche is really, really affordable. Standard service is not required until 20,000 miles, or a maximum of two years (and it is very reasonably/competivley priced). The alternator, power steering pump and the automatic A/C are all driven by a single, self-adjusting belt that doesn't need replacing until at least 60,000 miles. The factory coolant is designed, and made to last the life of the car, and the trasmission oil for the Tiptronic is good for 120,000 miles and spark plugs are guaranteed for at least 60,000 miles. Servicing 2005+ Porsches are cheaper, and require less maintenance than MBZ, and most other high end cars.
Just my 2 cents...I LOVE Porsche!!
