...what a morning...

Well..

Today just wasn't my morning. The rain last night left my car drenched inside this morning despite my best efforts at covering the roof up....

...on my way to work the I took the turn onto the main street and I drove over an oil patch. I spun 3 times before coming to rest in the center median/island. The car is fine and fortunately the intersection was red so no cars were coming.

Just a bruised ego and jittered nerves.

Heh. No more watching Top Gear and thinking I can drive like Jeremy Clarkson, I guess.

Thanks guys, I'm really glad I came out ok. It could have been a lot worse. I guess you can say that someone was watching over me today and I thank them for it.

As for the roof, it's an old car so the lining is really bad on the roof. It leaks perfusely on along the sides where the windows meet the roof. Hopefully I'll be able to use my tax return for a new roof.
