Nice choice, tool. I like the color a lot....with the black interior, that's gonna look sweet. I had the same car in grey as a loaner this summer when I was getting the new transmission. The 2.5 is a real peppy engine. It revs freely and is a lot of fun to drive. I was really impressed how well it cornered and took to the freeway....didn't drive like a SUV. I think you're going to like it a lot.

Not sure what you mean, but I ordered a US spec X3, so it is not a European model. I believe it will look just like the pictures.

Go ahead and flame me now...........I ordered it with the Steptronic Tranny. I spend entirely to much time on the Autobahn stuck in Stau (traffic jams) to be "clutching" all the time. I have to do that with my Benz and man I hate it, especially when it is a 20-25 km traffic jam.....man you get muscle failure in your left leg. I did not mind the steptronic so much in my 530i, only complaint was the delay in pick up when I floored it.

tool fan, your leg gets used to clutch + traffic but I do think you went the right way with X3 and Steptronic. The only thing is, X3 2.5i and the auto does 0-60 in 9.2 seconds so it might be mad slow. I am going to test-drive a 3.0i today or tomorrow, hopefully it will be fun.

OHHHH, I see....I know what you are talking about. I believe that is the optional aerodynamic kit you can buy extra for 2500.00 dollars. The black doesn't bother me that much.

At least that is better than my wifes Opel....0-60 in 2.3 days. HAHAHA

My wife happened, yeah man, she wasn't trying to hear about me wanting a 400 hp car.........she knows I am crazy enough behind the handle bars of a bicycle, M5.......I guess it had something to do with the sudden increase of life insurance premiums. hahaha[rofl]
