Yup got rid of the rice beating van! We were originally going to get rid of it and get a small SUV for my mom - and my dad was, at the time, planning on picking up a cheapo beater pickup truck to pick up appliances and stuff (we're redoing our kitchen and bathroom).

So we decided to get something that'll carry the 3 of us (and sometimes the dog...) but still be used for the house stuff. This was the solution. 18k miles with 11 months on the factory warranty. Not bad at all, their trucks are better quality than their cars [rofl]

Oh yea, has the towing package which is good, so my dad can come pull my e34 out of the snow when i get stuck [hihi]

I'll miss that van.

But thats a really nice truck though Eric, love the color. Did they hide the Onstar antenna from the roof on the 2005 or did the truck not come with it?

Oh sorry I didn't list the year!! It's a 2003, and has no onstar.

It's great, gm's employee discount messed up the resale of their used cars, so we just took advantage of it [hihi]

Wow that's immaculate for a 2003. I thought it was brand new. I bet you can't wait until winter so you can take advantage of that 4x4. [:D]

Nice dude! I can't stand those bed covers though! I know they are mad practical and all, but it makes the truck look weak.
It's what my dad wanted, plus he doesn't really care how it looks (which it doesn't look that bad). It's going to be used as a truck - we're not trying to show off with it (impossible with all the hicks and their hickmobiles around here). Plus it's fiberglass and easy to remove.

Raise it and put huge muddies all around and a bigass rhino bar and light bar. Am I missing anything?

I think fake snow would be cooler. I drove through snowy mountains last February to visit my brother, and later you could see where the snow had flown over the hood following the aerodynamic lines of the car. It was pretty cool. I hated to wash it because it looked so awesome.

You mean to tell me you family is parting ways with this? The end of a legend: [;)]

That is a nice pickup Eric....

[rofl] Yup, got rid of it.

I haven't driven it yet, but i told my dad I really have no desire to drive it. I tell people my e34 is too big, let alone a pickup.

Love that horse on the van. It made the van look so aggressive. The van looked so cute with that. I am missing it already. Are you going to put that on the new GM too?
