waterless car wash

Has anyone used any type of waterless car wash products? We have been put on water restrictions because of the lack of rain, and are no longer allowed to wash our cars at home. We have to go to a commercial car wash that recycles their water. I really don't like going to a car wash, rather do it myself. Any suggestions?

Those products came from the Middle East, where water was extremely scarce. I have seen it used and know people who have it...I'd say it could serve as a good "in between washes" kind of thing. I have no idea of the chemicals in it or of how good it is or not for the paint. It does work, though....works better than you'd think.

Think of it this way, water will make stuff like mud and grime asorb water. If that mud and shit ISNT wet (or the stray loose particles never have a chance to be simply sprayed off), I have a feelnig it will put some SERIOUS swirls in your paint.

this is the first time i've heard of it, but i don't think i'm feeling adventerious enough to try it on my car first.

water + soap + car = wash. chemical + car = ???
