The seller must have picked that up for almost nothing and is trying to find a sucker with a little cash. His past car sales have been some nice BMW's. Someone probably went broke creating that thing and he picked it up from them for a few thousand.

well i dont think that guy made it look liek an m3, just german rice - ewww.

but anyways some guy at my school had a 3 series obviously and made it lok like an m3. he had bumpers obviously wernt m3, had an m3 wing on back and cross drilled rotors, had the m3 side view mirrors and had like 19' rims on a e36 and they were ugly too and he put an m3 badge on teh back, o ya he had a coffe can exhaust too. so anyways, it didnt sound like an m3, and one of his former firends told me it was a 93 318 4cyl that he riced up ahahah. it was auto too and a it was a 4 door. and i knew 4 door/auto came out in 98 and his liscence plates told me it was older than that so i knew form teh beggining

anyways i think it became pretty obvious he had been caught so he took of that m3 badge off and put a acs one. then he said he spent 10k in cosmetics and performance upgrades and like 5k on the 318.

couple months later that rich bastard got a real 95 m3. 100% stock, that sob finally realized.

The 'ricing' of vehicles has never really hit the Motor City, either. I believe you'll get run off the road by a bunch of muscle cars and delt a large serving of whoop-ass for driving a riced out car in Metro Detroit. [fake]
