Eh, yeah, it certainly is a Prowler clone. But I think the real message here is that the Swedes are finally "expanding" their minds after decades of building safe, quality cars, and never taking any risk. What's the biggest "risk" they have ever taken - a turbocharged V6? [hihi]

Now, whether this concept car is appealing, THAT'S open to debate!

I think the current Volvos and SAAB to some extent are a big expansion for Sweden (er, I mean GM and Ford :(

Look at the new S40, 60 and XC90...there is nothing boring or square about them, and the interiors are beautiful and the materials are of very high quality and durability. If you park a 2005/2006 Volvo next to a 1985 240DL Volvo...you're gonna see just how much Volvo expanded and took risks.

That is just sad. What are they smoking in Göteborg??? The prowler was ugly 10 years ago, and it is even uglier now (especially coming from a logical, Swedish Design firm). YUCK!!!!
I disagree, I like the prowler..ALOT and I would have NO issue driving one. However this Volvo remake looks like doodoo.

Not to offend anyone but I had a friend in Idaho who owned a Prowler, not an impressive car, poor performance and handling considering the price tag, but if you wanted to give me one I'd take it!

I heard the same thing. Kind of a shame, there aren't too many open wheel cars in the USA.
