I saw one yesterday actually. It was on PCH being tailed by two other black Z4's with all sorts of antenna's and whatnot. Test car perhaps?
Darn! I got caught...Yes, I am a proud owner! The two black ones were my bodyguards... [fake]

Btw, anyone think they might know what the pricing will be on this?

I'm thinking $55,000? That would put it above a fully loaded Z4 3.0i since this is an M...or maybe it's going to be even more expensive?

I thought about that and I think that since the new M3 will be "better", I think they are going to increase the price of that to near $60k. A fully loaded one right now is about $53-$54k (coupe), who knows...

But if you think that $55k is a bit too much, that's a good sign, because then I can atleast think about getting one after I turn in my current 330Ci! Let's hope your right. [headbang]

P.S. - With all these rumors of a 335i (turbo), they're probably going to fill the void between a 330i and a M3 with that...mid-upper $40k?

I think $60k would be a good base price for the M3. I have a feeling a 335i turbo will be around $50k, but that seems like a little much for a 3 series unless they give it a performance oriented suspension. I don't think I would ever justify 50k for a non-M 3 series.

Yea, I don't think the 335i will be very popular if priced like that...but I just have this burning feeling that the M3's base price is gonna shoot up with this new model.

I just hope the Z4M is $55k or below, that's all!

$55k? I hope not, the M3 would be a better buy in that instance especially since the new m3 will have a more powerful engine.
Better buy? If you're looking for seating and comfort, yes. But for pure performance the Z4M is the better buy. On the track the Z4M coupe will own the new M3.

Most definitely. Isn't the Z4 3.0 just BARELY slower around a track than an E46 M3?

Yeah, just a bit slower. As you know it's the lower weight & CG of the Z4 that makes up the difference in HP vs. the M3. From what it appears that they have done with the Z4M Coupe's suspension and rigidity, this is going to be a hot car - looks, performance, everything. I think this one is going to join the E30 M3, 850, CSL, etc. in the BMW most desirable list.

As I have said B4, I'm a huge Z4 fan, and I love drop tops. But the coupe has me rethinking my Z4M Roadster plans.... [headbang]

There's hardly any camo left on it...What is so covered up about it? [8]

Still if you doubt my supernatural powers, wait till the car debuts...btw my interpretation of bland is different from your interpretation of bland.

And those spy shots are hiding a bland car. [thumbd]
