My E36 is going to need a new exhaust system, and since I will be doing some other work on the car soon, I'm thinking about doing it all at once.

I think I am going with UUC. Anybody have any comments/experience with a UUC system?

By the way, there seems to be quite a few people with rust problems with Remus (like Dan had with his 318).

I've just made friends with this owner of a BMW Performance shop and a bunch of his customers/buddies. They still say UUC makes some of the best (if not the best) parts of BMWs around. That's after they got screwed BIG time by them in a business deal. So, while they have ample reason to hate UUC, they still admit their stuff is top notch.

EISENMANN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!! Screw remus/sebring, they do rust and don't sound any/much different than stock.

Kirby depends what you're looking for, if you want best of the best, something that is probably structurally better than the car its being put on, eisenmann is your best choice. I would buy one, but they are awful expensive.

I looked at them. If it was a show car I might go that way, but since it's a daily driver, I can't justify $300 over the UUC.
Eisenmann isn't for show, its for a race car. Any exhaust can look 'good,' even a stock.

If you take a close look at the Eisenmann, you'll see that it's fit and especially the polished finish is a step above the others. If I were building a show car or a dedicated track car, it would be the choice. But since I'm building up a street car that is a weekend AutoX racer, their fit, finish and track quality is not worth the extra $$$ to me.

That $300 will be better spent on M3 subframe plates from Turner Motorsports and Delrin trailing arm bushings from TC Kline.

You read my mind, the round tips were my choice too. Not to mention that the DTM tips are more expensive for what return?
