Used / Re-mfg BMW parts

Anyone ever dealt with this site? Looks like good source for used, nicely rebuilt or upgraded engines etc. I don't need an engine (yet!) but not sure how this compares to what anyone else has seen out there.

Yeah, I recently bought an exterior door handle assembly from them. A lot of other places didn't have any in stock. It works perfect, the shipping was decently fast and I would certainly do business with them again.

Last year I attempted to purchase an engine (through the shop I work at) for a customers 740. They required payment in full up front (sounded fishy at the time) , promised delivery in approx three weeks. After four weeks, they kept promising that it was going to ship next week, then any day now. After 8 weeks we had the charges on the card reversed (non-delivery of purchased product).

You can comment on the advertisers there w/out getting in trouble. I've also read bad reviews on roadfly.

Ok, I searched their (Bimmerforums) forums and could not find a negative comment about Bavarian Auto Recycling"? Can you quote your source. And as I recall the negative comment your referring to was made by you ("Kenny - don't necessarily go to this AutohausAZ's link - he's obviously advertising for his own stuff. I've never heard of his site so I'd be weary unless others have purchased from him.") with no experience or reason. And I am not sure how you got in "trouble". I have no problem with a negative comment if it can be backed up!
