that's really messed up, you would think that there would be a standard on them for every vehicle, no matter what kind. This just creates more accidents, and yes some cars bumpers are really flimsy, for some reason the Ford Explorer just pop into my mind.

Lol, my buddys brother got rear ended by a jeep in his honda. Only scrated the honda... totaled the jeep.. ahahah whole front end just came off.

lol thats funny ive see pictures of bimmers rear ending other cars and only a scratch on the other car but b.c they are lower (the bimmer) it ****ed it up.

I do not believe the Feds have ever required bumpers on SUV's and trucks, I remember when I bought my pickup a rear bumper was an option. Many states regulate the max and minimum bumper hieghts, although I agree most of the regs set by the states are not adequate and are rarely enforced (this comes from judges who dismiss the citations because they believe the "cops" have better things to do).
