Mercedes-BMW-Lexus Street Race Ends In Fiery Crash


In what witnesses said was a street race, 22-year-old Michael Adams hit a corner in his car, flipped up in the air and then slammed into the garage door of Gregory Mewborn’s house on Clarendon Road early Tuesday morning. The crash engulfed three other cars and two houses in flames.

“It cleared my whole yard, and landed on top of my car, and started flames,” Mewborn said.

Mewborn said he heard the explosion but paid no attention to it.

“I heard the boom, but I was asleep, so I thought maybe I was just hearing things. When I opened the garage door, the flames hit me in the face, so that's when I said oops, it's time to get out,” Mewborn said.

One of my neighbors lost their son to street racing he was a ricer but a great kid and loved cars.....just the wrong make...LOL

Problem with today's cars are you can pump allot of HP into a small engine and that just makes for trouble for some people in the street....I say take it to the track and prove yourself there
