This is absolutely insane, my friend sent this picture to me and it's supposedly a 2.5 gigapixel image of some place in Europe which I haven't figured out yet. Zoom in all you want, the picture hardly loses any quality.

Can anybody find the E46 3 Series sedan and the E34 5 Series? so far those are the only BMWs I have found, good luck... post screenshots when you've found them.

Fascinating!!!! From the images it really looked like a college or university campus, some of the names on the buildings suggested as such. I browsed the site and found the primary page for this image:

The 2.5 gigapixel photo - http://www.tpd.tno.nl/smartsite966.html

TNO has produced the largest digital panoramic photo in the world. So, what do we mean by large? After all, modern consumer cameras can easily take a picture with 5 million pixels. Well, we are talking about a photo of completely different dimensions. One with 2.5 billion pixels - that's 500 times more pixels. If this photo were printed, it would measure 6.67 m by 2.67 m (300 dpi). The photograph shows Delft and its surroundings in the autumn of 2004. It was taken from the top of the Electrical Engineering faculty of Delft University, at a height of about 100 m, by TNO.
