i have a 87 735i , the transmission was new when i bought it. So it has less than 40,000 miles on it. It has given me no troulbe until last wk end,. I was going down the interstate and accidently hit the switch and put it in manual mode. So I switched it back. Not long later it lost power and the fluid light came on! Stopped, added fluid and went on my way. All was fine, then today my son had it in sport mode switched it back while driving again. Same thing happened only this time adding fluid only helped for a few minutes! NOW it drives like it is in 3rd gear. Light stays on and hesitant to take off . fine was we get going!! PLEASE HELP!! I LOVE MY CAR AND I DO NOT HAVE ALOT OF MONEY TO SPEND ON IT!
