Who else saw it/downloaded it? Jeremy reviewed the 530td, and seems to be very impressed. 0 - 60 in 6 seconds, top speed of 155, etc. He gets it up to 145mph too, and the diesel is quieter than the normal gas version of the 5 series. He even races the stig - jeremy in the 530td and the stig in the 545i and it actually wasn't too far behind, all things considered. When they put it around the track, it did it in 1:31.8... which did better than quite a few cars. I'm impressed!

Germans LOVE those 530d's............It is probably the most sighted new 5 series over here.

BTW.....I saw a 530xi here a few weeks ago...........so there is an x 5 series now.

These new diesels are fast, quiet, reliable, and deliver great gas mileage. I am just curious how much fun it actually is to whip a diesel car hard....I like the fun of a higher-rpm redline.
