Looks alot better than the current 7 series. But I just watched The Transporter last night and I gotta say that the 99' models were the shit. They looked so elegant and streamlined.

the back got highly improved, while the front just got back a little of the sport a bmw should have. it´s still huge. better then the pre-facelift version.

the good old 750i from 98 was the best 7er i ever saw, black, all-in, 18" wheels, 285 in the back, 245 in the front....and a schnitzer exhaust system best looking car ever in that league

This is how it should have been introduced. It's still edgy and has weird features, but it's not absolutely butt ugly. The trunk still has that weird shape, but it's not so obvious.

That front view is just horrendous; it's all out of proportion. Are BMW paying fuc*in' 4-year-olds to design these monstrosities?

well when you start with crap, it's kinda hard to shed that image. but i think they did a pretty good job of face lifting. it looks much better up front, and the back is a bit better, but like michael jackson's nose, one face lift won't complete the makeover.

at least they seem to be headed in the right direction, unlike during the height of hte bangle era.
