I like the McLaren better too. The Koenegg has nice doors (not regular lambo ones), but, and I know this is stupid, I like the McLaren cuz of it's 3 seats. not that it makes sense from a balance point of view, but the fact that you could take 2 girls w/ you instead of just one. [hihi]

i once had a video of a mclaren F1 doing 392 kph. i wonder why that was not timed officially.

in terms of like better or not i agree with you. the maclaren looks outstanding good and is really timeless.

did anyone see this topgear event where they tested the world´s top notch supercars against each other? Enzo, F40, F50, carrera GT, ford GT, Maclaren F1 (i hope i didn´t miss one) there they said that the mclaren has graeat speed but that really a lot professional drivers said the car would have difficult and risky handling, especially on the rear axle? that somehow shocked me, especially as mclaren F1 dominated le mans and GT races for some time.

I think the koenigsegg is very very very hot. The mclaren has kind of a mushy suspension, ever watch one of the top gear video's with tiff? It has insane body lean. You can't argue with the 650hp? bmw V12 though [hihi]

It's just 10mph (16km) besides the McLaren F1 has been around for roughly 10 years now. It's funny how it takes a decade to catch the leader by just 10mph. As for the handling/bodylean well I think it's about time for the mid 90's car to get a rework. This Koenigseigg is brand new (I believe??) or at least they keep tweaking and playing with it to tease the F1's records. Heh 2005 vs. <1995....

By JUST 10 mph? 10 mph is a LOT of speed, especially over 150 mph. If you stuck your arm out of the window going 230 mph in the mclaren, chances are it would be snapped back so fast it would break. Think of the kind of wind resistance. It's quite a feat to go that extra 10 mph.

the real beater is a porsche GT2, modified by 9ff, it reached the highest speed, but i cant remember, it was in the EVO car magazine. check it out
but i tdont think it got the praise since it was a modified car and the konig is a flat out unmodified street legal car

i rather have the 9ff GT2 no question about it

It was more for the emphasis of how it took 10 years to get 10mph more... What I'm saying is the F1 is an old car and Keonigsogg shouldn't boast too much, considering they're a decade behind. As for wind resistance, roughly a year ago a thoughtful passenger opened the front windows in my 325i at 80mph causing quite a memorable effect...

Nice, Nice, Nice.......but some of you have hit it right on the head. The MAC is a timeless machine, that all other supercars will forever be pitted against. I do like the looks of the Konig though. HOT
