Kinda looks like Tranzor Z but I am pretty sure that is not it.....they used to build the robot in your avatar as a toy and the fists used to shoot off......something like Mazer or Manzer or....damn I cant remember yet......

this really was a dumb game huh?

here's a hint: marc, you were really close, but it's not a mazinger, but is a spoof of it.
Yeah well there was a Super DF cartoon for a while with all the cool Japanese robots on it....they had SDF Gundam, SDF Macross among others....hmmmm...still thinking

That is......drum roll please: A SDF version of Gekiganger 3 from Martian Successor Nadesico....LOL..
You know how much looking I had to do for that? Was cool though...took me back to my time in Okinawa back in '84-'85...damn I was 11/12 back then and the Super Sentai Series was the shit(before it got dumbed down for American Audiences and turned into Power Rangers). Mazinger Z(better known as Tranzor Z in America) was the bomb too, along with Voltron, Robotech, and of course Ultraman and Gundam

nice [:D] i really didnt' think anyone from this board would get it. i don't think there are too many anime fans here.. i hope your search was fun, how do you even look up stuff like that anyway?

anyway, that is the SDF version of the Gekkiganger 3. if you haven't seen it already and are somewhat into anime, (cartoons if you must...) it's a great tongue in cheek anime. total rip off of the mazinger, and a pretty good spoof imo.

and of course you had to live in Germany.. shipping fee's gonna suck [:(] i just got couple things shipped from the states to Korea (couple things i forgot) and it cost an arm and a leg! ... ...

SDF = Super De-Formed

Getting the anime from Amazon is not too bad with S&H...i can afford it...thats how I got the whole Gundam Seed series, Ninja Scroll series, Samurai X, Drizzt Do'Urden Novels(hardback), and Shannara Novels(hardback). I am gonna take a look at that Gekiganger 3 though looks kinda cool in a retro way...i think Giant Robo is a better anime though. Best way to search for stuff like that is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page
It has something on almost everything......damn i just realized we have some of the same interests.....Imola Red Bimmers, Anime.....LOL

haha no kidding Marc! you know i just got done watching the SEED destiny series. (another 50 ep sequel to original SEED. pretty good imo) i usually get fan subs, since it takes a while to get DVDs over in the states. if there's a series i like, i'll spend the money for it, but after looking over my collection, i need to be more selective. Samurai X was really good. the TV series just wasn't as good as the manga. (first 2 seasons were pretty funny i guess)

i'll agree on us having similar interest, but i'll have to draw the line. I DON'T STALK LITTLE BOYS HALF A WORLD AWAY!! [hihi] i thought that was pretty funny actually..

if you liked any robot animes, Nadesico is def the way to go. (think the box set is pretty cheap now) Dual was ok, but tried way too hard to spoof Evangelion and combine Tenchi at the same time that it never really got anywhere. i gotta ask you tho, are you a fan of Eva? as was back in 98, it still is my fav series.

Evangelion was cool because of the whole spiritual, giant bio-mech spin...most mechs are just tools instead of being a real extension of the person or persona....I dont have the evangelion series although i have watched it....my absolute fav. anime series is Guyver....i dont know why the series isnt on DVD yet...I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for it...for now i have to deal with bootleg rips people have made into windows media video....BTW are you in the military or something? Most people dont go to korea for vacation! Anyway I dont watch as much anymore because I dont Toonami or a Good anime store here in germany. If they did I would be even more broke...I mean the Bimmer AND anime? Oh jeez my girlfriend would kick my ass....LOL.

p.s. Delete some of your PM's so I can write you punk! [thumb]
