I am buying an X5 and the only hesitation I have is I don't think the stero sounds that great. Although I have not really had the opportunity to fool with the adjusting the sound yet is seems flat. I was wondering if there is an easy way to upgrade the sound and if anybody has had experience. (new/different speakers, amps...)

Thanks in advance.

Aftermarket equipment is always an option. Wither new vehicles, they make it very difficult to do this though. Aftermarket amps are hard to put in because stock decks dont have outputs suitable to make the improvment in quality of sound. Changing to an aftermarket deck is even harder because a lot of stuff is integrated to some stock decks now, and finding a deck that replaces the location and still looks good is also hard. I am not saying its impossible, a lot of customizing has to be done though. I am not familiar with X5's at all, so I can't tell you how hard it will be or what you will have to do. But you might end up paying a lot more than you think to make it worth the time, but that amount may not be worth it to you.
