Spy Shot: M3 styling ready for production?

They have the sedan on there I'm curious to see what they will do with the kidney grilles on the normal 3er and it looks the front end is going to be more coupeish.

I saw that earlier today and I'm greatly disappointed. The E46 M3 is what got me into BMW's. Just pure sex that car was.

I was hoping for aggressive styling such as the first concept shot, which is just drop dead beautiful.

Its too early for me to comment, but so far I don't like it as much as the E46.

I agree with Tom. I think (as of now), the E46 M3 is much better. The E46 M3 is just so distinctive, from the front intake, the flared rear wheels, to the rounded side mirrors. This picture of the E90 M3, really doesn't look that much better than a 335i coupe. I'm not saying that the new M3 won't be amazing to drive, but I think an M3 should really stand out from other BMW models.

I like the new styling, but I do agree that the red prototype picture above looks better - much more aggressive. But does it seem that the M cars are getting toned down recently? Think about the M Roadster, it's not nearly as aggressive as it could look, maybe there is a trend here?

I don't know.... but there is definately something on there that screams,"GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!!"
