It looks better, the unpainted plastic of the current one always looked tacky to me. That "hidden" badge in halarious. The 2.0 most likely wont be coming to the US though, correct?

Yeah, the 2.0 is most likely a Euro model.

finally the colored scoop makes the x3 look much better imo. now its looking a bit more e90 ish. (with the line coming down from the kidney to the scoop, making it look like its a smile) i wonder how they'll design the fog light housing.

The front end does look nicer. I'm not a fan of all that plastic too but I like the X3. I find the plastic is harder to clean than the paint.

I agree, and it was one of the main factor that kept me from getting an X5 instead of my FX.

Looks pretty nice. Hopefully the facelift will be less girly-looking...on the upside, the X3 and X5 have spectacular lease rates!

yah, its so great to get rid of the plastic parts, back when i was lookign at cars something that got me away from the x3 was the plastic stuff
