I hope that this car is not the M1, Bangle sucks. They should make a supercar,(like Ferrari enzo territory) if they make an M1 again. BMW needs to make it resemble the old M1 and make it a rare car. As the M1 is and will always be rare and awesome. BMW needs to stick to its roots. I was at the local dealership today and I looked at the new X3, that "sav" is really ugly. As someone has already stated in this forum and Bangle is a terminator sent back through time, by Mercedes, to kill BMW. Don't get me wrong some of the designs are sweet, but all the 1 series. 2 series, and 4 series talk. Is just overkill, that is to many classes. Hopefully this will all past and the sun will come out again, Bangle is the "Perfect Storm".

I agree that they have an M1 confusion problem going on here. You're right, the M1 should be reserved for the supercar heritage. But I'm guessing there are going to try to "unify" the M numbering with the series number, and this WILL be the M1.

What SHOULD they call the ///M version of the 1 series? Some of my suggestions are serious, others are jokes!!

thought the 6 was ok (never would buy it though)
and now this m1 thing looks pretty decent
still weird with all those curves but i can see

that seems realistic (M kit), this car still has stock wheels on it with what looks like some pretty skinny tires. Never seen an //M that didn't have wide low profile tires on some nice big wheels.. Didn't they do the same thing the year before they released the e36 M3? (Released a 'M' version of the 325is)

I def. agree with this. I mean its cool to have different classes but we are bringing wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to many out at the same time. I don't understand what BMW is doing at all, nothing, its stupifyingly stupifying. I find it hard enough to cover up for bangles mishaps w/ my friends, we always talk about cars and until now they dish out so many things that are true about design and quality, its becoming harder and harder to be a BMW Enthusiasts w/ Bangle around. 1 series is ok, I really still need to get used to those new damn designs
