Small problems with my 325, but still a pain

I have had my certified pre owned 2003 325xi for just over a month now and I have had it back to the dealership on five seperate occasions and still have one more on the calendar. The problems aren't major mechanical issues, but they are still a pain in the butt. I thought the car would have been checked out a little better before being "Certified" as a pre owned car. I do have the 100,000 mile warranty, but I still am a little fed up with the whole situation.

Is this a regular practice at dealerships?

Shouldn't be but you could PROBABLY, and this is just hypothetical, but you could probably get better help from us if your post was a little more specific.

The problems being; replacement of the weather stripping x2, replacement of the front brakes (at 28,000 miles) seat bealt buckle replacement for the drivers seat, service engine light on...diagnostic check, headlamp is faulty. The list goes on and on...

Is that more helpful???

Sounds like a pain, but nothing unseen on even new cars. My car, at 16,000 miles and bought brand new has/needs both weatherstrips replaced and has had a check engine light on (some diagnostic software needed to be upgraded). Headlamp wasn't faulty, but my moonroof's sunshade clips broke.
