The last time I saw this car it was in the modeling clay. I am still reserved on what I think about it. It reminds of a Hot Wheel that I had when I was really young. Come to think of I may still have it.....

Tom, IMO on looks alone no way. I love the looks of the GT. It is timeless. Twenty years from now the new GT will still look as good as new just like the old one. This new GR1 is nice, but a bit too novelty/concept looking for me (basically I couldn’t see myself driving it, but I could see me driving the GT). I am not sure what the performance numbers are going to be for the GR1, but to replace/compete with the GT it better be on this side of phenomenal...

I have to admit I am a bit partial to the GT. It is one, repeat ONE, of my many many favorites.

Does anyone have the performance numbers for this car? I have to admit I have not viewed the video as of this time. Maybe tonight…
