Setting time on Sony Tuner also BMW clock

'95 318I, Can't figure out how to set time on BMW clock (no owners manual) ALSO! Need help with Sony AM/FM/CASS. unit clock-someone told me how to do it awhile ago and I forgot.
Small thing, but driving me nuts!

move your key to position 2, hold SET/RES + Clock buttons until the OBC displays Input Time...use the 1, 10, etc...to change the time. g'luck.

I was waiting for the wife and thought I'd try again-did something and saw colon blinking between hrs and mins and I got it going. Couldn't tell you how I did it though!!!
Stopped in a car audio shop today and asked-2 seconds later O.K.
