God, that's ugly. What is GM doing?
You tell us, Mr. GM defender. [:p]

Seriously, though...that thing obviously looks like a direct competitor for the PT Cruiser because surprisingly...the PT Cruiser actually does sell.

HAHAHA....does that P.T. Loser have flames on it??? HAHAHAHA, I saw a P.T. Loser here on base yesterday that had 67 'vette style exhaust pipes running down the sides of the car. Itruly HATE those cars. If I had to choose between walking or riding in a P.T Loser......I guess it would ultimatly depend on how far I was walking....But I would rather walk. That Chevy is FUGLY. You guys seen the new Ford 500....now that my friends has future Cop Car written ALL OVER it...........American auto designers SUCK worse than Bangle.

Excerpt from Money magazine on the Detroit Auto Show:
========================================

Chevrolet HHR: Why buy this instead of a Chrysler P.T. Cruiser?

Five years ago when the P.T. Cruiser first came out, it was totally unique and sold like lemonade in a heat wave. Now that it's been out for a while sales have slowed as many who wanted a retro-styled wagon now have one.

The market prospects for the HHR, Bell and Barker agree, look dismal.

Chevrolet will have to find a unique selling point for the HHR. The six inches of extra cargo space might help. Chevrolet's other unique selling point -- "We're putting a $4,000 rebate on it" -- could come into play as well.

I don't even know why they are bothering. I smell the makings of another SSR.

By the way, the Chevy dealer in town here has four SSRs all lined up out in front - they've been there forever.

Back in 94, we ordered a 95 blazer from one dealer, but then another dealer gave us a better price. So the car that we originally ordered but canceled came in anyways, and was sitting on that dealers lot for 11 months!!
