Saw first race between 2 BMW's.

Wasnt really a race but I was following my friend who is about 5 years older than me - 33, and owns a E39 Dinan BMW 540i 6-spd. The car gives mine a run for the money when zipping around town. Plus shes a big BMW fanatic. Anyways we merge onto 93 in Boston headed for the tunnel to head to Quincy Market for lunch. Traffic is slow so we heard over to the far lane. Our exit is coming up in the tunnel, so I merge over. But dick in a 330ci convertible decides to match her speed. Supposively his car has some upgrades - Dinan, Schnitzer, and whatever stickers he had on his bumper. When she notices she downshifts and punches it and within seconds car lengths ahead then changes all 4 lanes in one shot perfectly whilest telling the guy in the 330 he's number 1. It was pretty impressive. And people say girls cant drive a Bimmer.

I grab the oh-shit handles more when my wife drives than anyone else, and it's not because she's driving like a typical 'woman' driver, but much the opposite.. Trying to get her interested in AutoX/Tracking, so it'll make my life that much easier when I want to get out to the track..

She would scare the bejeezus out of me in her old L7, that thing was like a cast-iron tank, but she threw it around like a Z3 or something..
