I just purchase a new Jaguar X-Type. When I got it
home I started to go over the car and when I popped the hood, the entire engine
compartment was covered in salt. It appears that the salt has been there quite
a while (manufacturing date 12/03) and a lot of the bolts and aluminum parts
show signs of corrosion. What should I do?
Do I have options on returning the car? As soon as I found the problem, I took
it back to the dealership. They don't seem too concerned, but I am. Some of
the corrosion is fairly severe....
