run hot when idling

i have a 1989 325i bmw its run hot while it is idling. when i start driving it the temp run down to cold. I put new clutch fan,thermo.and water pump.

What year is your car? It could be a bad radiator if its too old.

Have you checked all the hoses to make sure that are no buildups clogging it?

You might also check and make sure that there is no air in the system.

i put new hoses on it and i bleed it

thanks that did the job. Are there any little things that i can do without going into the motor to produce hp

cut the air flow meter and air box out out and just have a straight pipe to a high flow pod filter, deleat your muffler system and have just straight headers.

Add jet fuel.

When I had an 91 325i I bought an ebay replica chip. It gave it a nice little boost and it was really cheap.
