Ripped Leather Seat HELP!!!!

$@#?%&*!!!!! I have a rip in my seat! it did not start as a rip it seemed to just gradually become one, it is right at that area on the edge of the seat were you slip into the car and slowly but surly grew and grew and grew and now AARRGGHHH!!!! A full blown rip with white stuffing billowing out like smoke out of a burning building (Not Really that bad) anyway my question, any help in how to mend it without a costly visit to a shop or replacing the whole seat? Any type of patch anyone has used????

Take it to a reputable leather repair show, they could prob do it for cheap. There are also guys who are mobile (ie come and do it while you're at work) who do quite amazing work. Doesn't hurt to get an estimate, but there's probably nothing you can do yourself that will match what even a cheap professional can do.

Thanks for the advise, I think that is what I will have to do. I was hoping there might be a patch kit like the ones they have for torn home furniture and if anyone has used it.
