Yeah, I honestly am considering carrying with me, but I know someone will get hurt and it will just escalade the situation. Im just going to let it be because I already have my name in the cop computer as reporting it. And the last thing I need is a retaliation to make my story uncredible. Hopefully they are happy.

Its been there for about 8 hours... its just been rainy and dewy out.

Well I know what I would do......I got into a fender bender about 2months ago and considered taking it to craft shop suggested by some soldiers I work around. Buuuuut in the end I took it to the Dealer and had them fix it....noone works as well on your car than a dealer of the Marque or a shop that works specifically on BMW's or other high end models(those brands that we shall not mention! LOL). If you have full coverage thats what I would do! As a matter of fact if you do that claim the whole thing and get the whole thing repainted like new!

I agree with adrean8j. If you don’t have full coverage go to the dealership and ask them what body repair shop they recommend (use), go there and ask them for an estimate or advice. If you want, and depending on where the scratch is you may be able to find a used panel, take it to the shop to be painted and install it yourself or just get a temp one to install while your original one is being painted. If that's more than what you want to spend try a Nick-Sander and some touch-up paint.

equate, aren't you the dude who got caught going like 90 in a 45 zone or something? I think I gave you some advice on what to do about it on the other forum....whatever happened to the ticket? You said you were going to lose your license over it.

Hustler, I can't speak for equate, but I wouldn't car how old it is, it is a BMW M car. I mean, you wouldn't want to care for a car if it were over 6 years old? If I had a 98 ford escort, I could understand...

And to the owner of the car 90 in a 45? AND you got caught? If you did that in a place and time to get caught you kinda deserve that ticket.....you have to know where and when....just ask FROLF......LOL

1. Yes wtf? Why bother to fix it are you kidding me? You are on a forum that worships BMWs I love my car. My car has 0 rust on it. Just a couple dings and some flaked paint that im going to get fixed. This is the first rust my car has seen.

Yeah haha, I got clocked 90 in a 55, it was an empty road (2 lanes one each way) and a big ass u-truck or someting was coming at my and I just was cranking along, and right behind the truck was a sheriff. Got taged, good news is they lowered my ticket to 75mph so I dont get a reckless, just a $122 ticket and higher insurence

Did your parents throw you out after you turned 6?

Sorry to hear about your car equate. Ricers have a reason to be jealous of your car ;-).

Classic...hey can I use that in My SIG?....PLEASE. Now a-days, you can have a decent paint job done for about 1500 large..........Equate...you said that you had some other flaking as well....just get the whole thing repainted and PARK IN THE GARAGE. It is a beauty of a car. Adrean8j said it best..."A BMW modern classic."

Yeah, I really want to get it repainted, the reason I am holding off is I just cant afford it right now and there are other things on my car that should be fixed first. Most of the flaks are on plastic so its not going to rust, and I dont plan on driving this in the winter so hopefully next summer I can get it repainted.

The E30 M3 is one of my favorites, “BMW MODERN CLASSIC” without a doubt. I wish BMW would offer the option of flared fenders on current M cars, it instantly declares “on your left.” [burnout] [driving2]

Hahah I can't believe that guy actually asked why you would baby it. In 20 years, an e30 m3 will be worth triple what an e46 m3 is worth at the time.
