Hi guys.

I've got a brand new 325ci that I decided to order with the leatherette as oppossed to the leather interior. I figured the $1400 that I usually spring for when I lease my bimmers might better be spent this time on a Nav system. I actually like the feel of the leatherette better than the leather, but I notice that it picks up scuffs VERY easily. Like when I get out of the car (I have the sport package with the side bolstered sport seats) the little copper pocket rivet on my Levi's leaves a scuff on the seat!! What can be done to hide or remove these? Has anyone else had a problem with excessive scuffing?

I have no expierience with this type of seat. When I condition my leather, it ushally removes the scuffs. Try looking at Vlad's or Coyotefreek's detailing guides in the Auto Detailing section. You might find the answer there. If not, just post this same topic there. You might get a more regular flow of people that know about this stuff.

E36 or E46? Well, if my memory is correct, both have very similar interior materials. I use water and a sponge on my E46. Liquid hand soap for stubborn stains. Simple Green is often recommended. Check the detailing forum.
