I've never tried that... if it's the only spot thats open, I back into it. I have pulled in on the wrong side before... but it was very early in the morning, and I either turned the car around, or went to the other side.

I've done the "wrong side" thing when the pumps were busy, but I always won the battle, never got "hosed" like she did.

Personally, I've never done that, but all the hoses I've ever seen are mounted from the top of the machine and make it look like it's very easy to fill from the other side. I've seen many people do that, but never seen a spectacle like that. I laughed so hard when she fell. It was so funny and seemed like perfect slap-stick that I an inclined to think it was staged.

WOW... I can't believe that really happened... I personally think it would have just been easier and less effort to just turn around. Why would somebody take the hard route when there is such a much easier route readily accessible... that's too funny.
