New user here. [wave]

I'm not sure if General is the right place but I'm looking for some advice. My husband drives a 1997 318ti. The car is looking pretty worn out, the headliner is coming down to the right and left of the windshield and it has minor scratches on the hood and roof. I'd really like to get it spruced up for him but have a limited budget. Any advice on where to start looking for a good detail shop that will do this kind of work? I don't want to get out the yellow pages and start calling everyone in there if there is a better way to find a reputable shop or two to get estimates from.

Thanks for your help.

a body shop, i would let a detail shop do that kind of work. they're usually grimmy guys that have no lives. a body shop shouldnt charge much for this, but an approximate i'd say, for a buff job, then clean up and fix interior...$400...give or take.

As Far As There Painting Goes..you Can Expect Them To Not Remove Anything Before Painting ..(ex..mirrors If They Are Painting The Door Or Front Quarter, Trim). They Will Tape It Up And Not Actually R&i It. Which Will Result In Visible Tape Lines In The Paint. The Prep Work Before The Painting Is Less Than Desirable. And The $299 Special Normally Will Not Have Clear Coat. And Expect Lots Of Orange Peel.
