putting needle piece back in on speedometer? please help!

ahhh.. ive really wanted to finish up my cluster ordeal..
ive been searchin threads on diff forums most of today and all i can find is suggestions on how to take the needle off by turning it counter clock-wise out of its 'calibration point' and pulling it.

how do i put the needle back in so its normal again? everytime i put it back in the little black hole for the needle it just flops around


help please

What needle? The needles just pop off, and then you jam them back in. Which needle are you having trouble with?

Looks as though you have pulled and broken the drive right out of the dial....

1st picture, the needle to the right, should look like the needle to the left...

so there's nothing i can do to fix my speedometer needle?

You could attempt a pull aprt of the odo gearbox and 'superglue' the driven pin into the grive gear for the needle. Best bet.... go to the wreckers and get another cluster dude.

Though I'm not sure, as i never pulled the odo apart before.
