Yes Tim, it is an addiction. I get the coffee started and begin reading the board! [hihi] Ok can I submit my opinion before 4pm EST.hehe? Here it is, my wife loves the current Boxster style, I don't! The centered exhaust just bugs me, and the fact that I cannot open the hood/trunk to look at the engine....The new one just posted, the lines at the roof look strange, is that a hard top? I dunno, I still have to wait a while. If you were planning a new car in say 06, have an M roadster and pickup which would you get, the Boxster or Mini Cooper S? Maybe I should do a poll? Argh...it's still early...

You know what's funny about Porsche they're German yet the design of their cars seems so Italian, amazing.

I read a statistic that the best selling Porsche is the Cayenne, and the least selling is the Carrera GT no surprise.

HMMMM 65-75k for a cayenne or 450k+ for a Carrera GT.........I can't figure it out. Why would one sell better than the other?

dan, yes dang it is [thumb] uuuuhhhh i want one...or two...

dan, no, that´s a coupe. no hardtop there. does it bother you that the engine is mid-mounted? i mean, all real porsches carry their heart in the trunk. that´s philosophy [hihi] of course, that leads to two things:

- high agility and sporty driving
- high potential to spin out (but no one said a porsche should be or would be easy to drive. it´s built for drivers not those who know the theory of driving)

No is is not the mid-mount it is simply that I cannot open a hood and drool! After looking closely I noticed it was a coupe. I will most likely stay with the roadster and buy a Mini Cooper S next year, but hey I can still look and may even change my mind.

oh i see...well, with a 911 you can still open the (trunk)hood and drool [hihi]

but...oh well you don´t see too much of the enigne anyway [confused]

a mini cooper S is a fine thing to drive around with. i would really enjoy to have one for fun. get the cooper works package when you buy the car [thumb]
