Great video, I really thought the R1 would kill the 911 but I'm glad the Porsche won, even though it doesn't prove much.
Regarding what he said about the tires, it definitely makes sense but I thought that bikes are faster in the turns just because they're so light and their two tires are so damn wide and the way bikes take turns is very different from cars. When you take a turn on a bike, it's like the bike is working with gravity, but when you take a turn in a car, it's like the car is fighting gravity.

i've seen the video before. you can tell that the announcer hates bikes. so i'm sure there's some bias towards the car. i can say from experience that on turns, the cars have the advantage. after all they have four wheels while we bikers have two. the only thing a bike has better is accelaration, braking, and of course wheelies for the ladies... ![[thumb]](/images/smilies/icon_smile_thumb.gif "Thumbs Up [thumb]")
