This is a stretch, but does anyone know of any tire that's currently in production that's very similar to the P600? They don't make the P600 anymore; I'm assuming it's what came on my car from the dealer. That's what the spare is and it looks like it's the original, and unused. Anyway, anyone know anything about it?

That's odd. When my wheel guy called to try to order one, they said they didn't make them anymore.
They don't, look at the reviews, all the cars are from like 1989. You are not going to find any tires that are "similar" to the P600's because the tread design is so old.

Our 1992 Jaguar came stock with P600 V rated tires. Very nice tire for the day, but technology has improved considerably. We just put a set of Michelin Pilot Exalto's and they work great on the car.

My recommendation is to find a reputable tire dealer in your area (Firestone isn't a good choice) and ask them for something that fits your needs. Do you want performance over comfort? Do you want low noise? Long wear? Do you drive in the rain or snow? Forget Costco, Tire Rack and all the discount houses, because you need help finding the right tire and you'll need them to install/repair/service.

Good luck!

Well, here's the story. I had a tire that really needed replacing, so we took it in and had it switched with the spare. We also had the wheels balanced. While we were doing that, we discovered another tire needs replacing, too. Being a poor college kid, I don't want to pay for 2 tires if I only need one, so I was hoping I could find another close enough to the P600 to put it on the same axle.
