i am just curious as to whether most people thing that BMW is superior in luxury features or performance features. I, for one, think that its performance. because the luxury features are nice, but just create havoc. for example the new 7 series. what performance but sometimes it fails to start because of electronic starting. but enough of me.
THANK YOU!! [thumb]

The BMW's have nice interiors but I think Mercedes or some of the [xx(] American cars are more luxurious. I agree that the reason to buy a bimmer is performance.

A lot of both, from my perspective. My only experience (which is very limited at this point) is with the M3. It's got a lot of "luxury features" (but I'm easily impressed by whistles) and .. well... it performs pretty well too [;)]

Definitely performance. It sucks in the luxury department. I'm sitting in a $30,000+ car with a plastic interior. Least the materials used in my car are pretty nice and don't feel cheap. But, if I wanted luxury, I woulda bought a Lexus or even an Acura. Wouldn't get the performance with the Lexus and the Acura is like a 7/10ths BMW in performance but with more luxury.
