Did not even make it a 100 yards........What PSI of nitrous was that guy pushin? That hurts me, my second favorite car is Vette. (shakes head in disbelief)

The car blew up then caught fire! You have to know what you're doing when it comes to nitro. This happens all the time. It's a shame to own a car like that and then go and add nitro and not even do it correctly. What a shame. That was an expensive mistake....

Exactly why nitrous should NOT be used by people that don't have a clue what they are doing with it and how to implement it safely and properly.

Chances are insurance won't cover it not only because it was the result of an aftermarket nitrous system, but also because it happened at a dragstrip. If this guy can't setup a nitrous system properly, I'm sure he also didn't have track insurance on the car.

I know that track. that is the dragstrip in my town, Greatlakes Dragaway. I just ran there a few weeks ago. Ive seen some pretty nasty cars blow up there: Grand National, a late RX7, even seen a few street bikes do flips.
