Just a little info about me...I love cars and will break my neck to see one speeding past or get into an accident, whatever it takes. Plus, I live in St. Louis. And although there are some very nice cars around here, I rarely see exotics unless they are at the local Bentley/Maserati Dealership...

I live in St. Louis (the burbs) and have seen a couple sweet cars I never thought I would see unless I was at a car show or Jay Leno's garage. About a month ago I spotted a Ford GT on the highway and followed her for a while to see what she was up to (by the way all cars are female). I was amazed at how low to the ground the GT was and how nice the car looked. As I was leaving I got to sneak a peak at the driver, probably another rich male with no idea of the car he was driving.

Then...just today I spotted a Porsche Carrera GT on the other side of the highway, yeah, you know, the $440,000 sweet Porsche! It was silver and to be honest, I am glad I ordered the Enzo instead!

And yea, I've gotten into so many "almost accident" situations because all I do is stare at other cars instead of at the road. ;-D

Sad thing Stitch, at leat 5 have been totalled so we are down to 394. The last one that was wrecked the guy walked away and commented that it was "just a car"[bash]

yup, and he's "just alive" but he does have a point, after a some point, it all boils down to her being "just a car" AFTER a loooooooooooooooong loooooooooooooooooooooooong time....

i wish someone would take pics and interview me when i wreck my car, instead of just getting yelled at..

I go through the same thing every day while driving to work in Scottsdale. Today I saw an SLR driving the other direction on the freeway. I did a double take and almost rear-ended the car in front of me.

On my way moving in to college, passing through ATL, I got into traffic with a Dinan M5. We were I had plenty of time to stare and drool before he headed off in a different direction.

I saw a big yellow supercar in my hometown once. That was pretty crazy and unexpected, since it's a city of about 40k in the foothills of the Smokies, and nearly all of the wealthy people are scientists, a group that tend not to drive sports cars. My mom was driving, at the time, so I wasn't paying much attention as we passed it going the other way. I'm not sure what it was, but I think I saw a horse on the back.

During last week, I caught a 360 Modena late at night and a brand-spankin-new F430 in red while coming home from school. I have seen a Carrera GT in person down in FL, and there is a dude in my town who has one.

About the most exotic sports car in my home town is a 911 Carrera.


But the past 2 weeks, I saw a few in Europe:

- an Aston Martin DB9 in Salzburg, Austria (driving in the rain
). What a SWEET puuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrr!!!!

- a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in Madrid, Spain in crazy mad traffic. I would have been sh*&*& bricks if I owned it.

- a Porsche 911 Turbo near Portofino, Italy

Not true exotics, but I saw two M6s and the BMW Oracle Yacht in Munich. Pictures in a few days.

Hey I live in St. Louis too! Where did you these beasts? Creve Coeur, Ladue, T&C? Probably one of our local athletes I suspect.

WOW.. awesome day today, spotted a Z06 vette, a ferrari 360, and a lambo gallardo!!!

First time i saw the gallardo, my friend managed to snap a pic with his phone, ill upload when possible.

Matt - those are good ones. The gallardo is so ... in motion w/ those blurry effect around it.

Those Italian Police aren't dump, too. They have Lambo donate a Gallardos in honor of their 152nd anniversary, to be used during special situations, including high-speed chases. This special edition Gallardos equipped with on-board satellite navigation, built-in defibrillator equipment, etc.
