I still need to take some pictures of my 07 X5, but I ordered a silver kidney grill, and it hasn't arrived yet. I think the silver double kidney grill looks so much better than the black one. Love the car. Best X5, IMO.

Added another BMW to the stable...we figured we needed to round out the babies. Now we have 1 SAV, 1 sedan and the cabrio.

We got a 2007 Sterling Gray 750Li, with Black Nasca leather. Every option, besides night vision, which we just found kinda gimmicky. It's an awesome car, and there are so many options, features and packages...I don't think anyone can ever use them all (but they're for sure fun to have :) The ride is amazing, and for it being a Huge! car, it honestly handles like a small, sports sedan. Very cool.

When I install my new front grill, I'll add pics of the new X5.

You poor SOB, I'm glad they finally stuck those wheels on the V8 they look so good. How come you didn't go for the V-12? I know they are a very hard car to find. The kicker on the V8 is 360 HP @ 25 MPG on the highway, and it actually does 25 MPG!

Looking good though. Shoot some inside pics, it is sick how much room is in the back seat.

Nice 7. Love the black trim around the windows; too bad they don't do that on the 3 series.
A friend just got a black 2007 750 w/ night vision and it's pretty cool.

Thanks Matthew & Ken!

No 760Li because besides from being hard to find, the MSRP starts at $121,000, and the differnence in power & performance wasn't honestly that amazing. The 760Li to me, is all about someone wanting the V12 badge on the side of the car. Just not important to us!

Yeah, the mpg is actually amazing in the 750, considering this car weighs 5000 lbs, and is 204 inches long! It's liquid smooth, but passing and performance power is their across the rpm range. Pretty impressive!

Danke Tom and Dan. The colour is beautiful, thanks. At first we thought it was identical to the new X5 (Space Gray), but when they're parked side by side, the 750 almost picks up a slight bronze hue, where the X5 maintains a cool, cold bluish gray. Two near identical colours, yet completely different. Way to go BMW! :)

Yeah, we have had our share of BMWs for sure [8] , tried the Range Rover (big mistake), yet it made us realize that even though BMW has it's issues...it's still our favourite car manufacturer.

Well look at Mr. High-Roller over here. [;)]

So I guess wifey let you get your X5 if she got the 750Li? My uncle just replaced his 745Li with the 750Li, really great car.

Congrats on the whips buddy!

Thanks Emile. I mean, we have to be fair to our loved ones!! You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours [:I]

Your uncle made a wise move. The 750Li's face and ass lift, and interior mods, just blows the 745 out of the water.

You have to explain Emile, why the G35 is in storage. What's going on? What did you order???

I don't wanna say why it's in storage, and I dunno if I'll be keeping it or not. I'll le ya know as soon as I know. [thumb]
That's kinda cryptic Mr. Emile. Are you involved in some sort of hit and run, and you and your parents got the G35 off the streets [joke] ?

Anyway, let us know. You shouldn't have changed your profile to say the Infiniti is in storage, if you don't want to say why! [cheers]

Wow, I've been out of the loop for a while... Nice 7, what happened to the M? [:o)]
Awww, my beautiful Interlagos Blue M3!! Wow, it has been a while. Sold the M3 for a 2006 330i (just didn't like the 330i, too many glitches). Sold the 330i for a Range Rover (horrible!). Sold the Rover for an Audi A6 (great car btw). Sold the Audi for a 2007 X5 and 2007 750Li).

I mean, c'mon...keep up with the car changes!! he he he [whip]

re: the grays of BMW
I looked closely at a Space X5 yesterday and granted it's kind of gloomy in Chitown these days, it's all gray tones; no color flecks in the metallic. It's a great color, kind of medium dark.

Sparkling graphite, which I have chosen, has, if you get the right angle and sunlight, flecks of purple and green in the paint. (Kind of like purple hairs in.....I digress). I'm hoping that in the summer, with a good wash, SG will shine. It's darker than space. Even Mystic blue has some color flecks in there in the right light. These days around here, all grayish cars look kinda drab, covered in a layer of salt.

I'll have to check out Sterling when I can find one and see what I can hallucinate in there. [drinking]

Very nice Adam! The 750 is amazing and does look a lot better than the 745. I like the wheels on the 750 and I think it makes the car. Those are the first wheels I like on the 7 since the old 740 w/ sport package. Beautiful rides!

Nice cars Adam.
But don't you feel the wheels on the X5 feel a little small?
No not at all. If any of you know our roads here in Los Angeles, Hollywood, etc..., you know they're the second worst in the entire nation (San Jose, CA is #1). As cool as larger rims, and thinner tires look, I just didn't want it on an SAV. With literally every street full of pot holes, mini sink, holes, crappy asphalt "repairs", bigger wheels here in L.A., just suck.
