yesterday i installed new shocks and springs into my car. i thought that maybe i'd just spray paint my old shocks and springs and call them new, but the 147000 miles was doing more than "shining through" on any drive i would take.
not too many "in process pics" because i didn't have all day to get what i needed to get done.
car is up, i worked at my friends house, he helped me a lot through the process. he has a really sick garage, it was real nice to just drive in, swing the arms of the hydraulic lift under, hit a button and watch my car fly.
at this point i only have the right front done
left front done
onto the rear...
because i really don't like how e36's look when the rears tuck i ordered some beefy 15mm spring pads, as seen sitting on top of my new spring
rear half way done
all done and.....
the suspense.....
before
after
even wheel gap, much better ride quality and a lot flatter around corners. will give the full report once i get my alignment done (gotta get that toe corrected) and once i have a couple weeks to feel it out.
btw, i just went with the koni sport kit, springs/shocks.
